At LCI we provide the opportunity for all students to be involved in productions each year.
Typically the Fall Production is a large scale production where every student who auditions gets a part in the show, or, if they prefer, a tech theatre position. We can have upwards of 100 students involved in these productions.
The work we do in the spring is geared towards productions for the Alberta High School Drama Festival (AHSDF) and the SHED the Mask festival. Students who are in the LCI Drama Academy or who are interested in continuing theatre outside their high school career are typically involved in these shows. Many of these productions are student directed and produced.
